Slide Switch Replacement

I need to replace the switch for my slide(HWH mechanical). The switch is marked as a Sigma LR-20985(?). The reason I question that is that a LR-20985 is an On/Off,2 prong switch. My slide switch is a momentary On/Off/On switch with 6 prongs(although only 3 prongs on one side are used). The switch roughly measures 1/2 by 3/4 inches. Anyone know of a source for a replacement switch?

THere are many sources of such switches.. ALthough finding one that actuall FITS can be a problem. But you can google for SPDT (on)off(on) switches.
Include the prens as those indicate MOMENTARY in switch labeling (Push and hold)

Without knowing the physical dimensions I can't give you specifics.

You said only 3 of 6 pins are used. that would make that switch DPDT (on)off(on)

also. unless the switch has fallen apart.. Try just using the other 3 pins.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Look at the back of the switch for what you have connected. Some slides have full load switches that are not six pole but only four or five used to reverse polarity to move slide in or out.

What is make and model of your slide mechanism?

True, but in a HWH Hydraulic system, reverse polarity switches are not needed. They sometimes are for Electric motor slide rooms. Doug

Thanks for the replies. I will try Doug's solution first. Enblethen, slide is HWH, not sure of model. Like I said, only using thfde prongs.

Usually, when you have a 6 prong switch and ONLY the one side is used, when it fails use the other 3 prongs. Try that. Doug
