Need upper and lower ball joints replaced on our Spartan chassis.

Anyone have it done anywhere in Arizona or Nevada? If so, where, when, and how much?

Willing to go to Texas, New Mexico, or as a last resort Cali.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Bill. Actually called them early this morning before I posted.

Waiting for them to get back to us with a price.

Already know what parts we need, and how much they are directly from Spartan. Problem we’re having is the shop we usually go to in the Phoenix area quoted us 10 hrs more labor than Spartan says ( 6 ) .

The man we talked to in Redlands nailed the labor hours off the bat, so that’s a good sign. Will post when he gets back to us.

Was hoping for a place in Arizona or Nevada. We try to stay away from Cali whenever possible

Thank you again

You might also want to check with Colton Truck in Colton Ca. They are also a Spartan repair facility. While likely not the cheapest around, their techs are very knowledgeable and we have had good service from them. Can't provide input regarding Redlands as have not used them

Assuming you're near a decent sized town, call a few of the local truck shops such as the service department at the Freightliner dealer. If they can't do it, they can probably recommend someone.

They may want the S/N and VIN of your MH to see what it takes.

I'm sure Redlands Truck and RV in Redlands, CA can do the work, but I find them a little bit on the expensive side for parts and they try to up sell you on things that don't really need to be done. The actual work and their mechanics knowledge was good. They also have their own RV park where you can spend the night for free coming and going.
