Starting my 7000 watt Genset?

Hello, thank you to all that helped with my 12V issues everything is working good with that now. I'm having a problem starting my 7000 watt Onan Genset, I'm not sure if it's getting gas, is their a fuel shut off valve for the genset I can't find one or could it be something ells?
My unit is a 1997 Vectra Grand Tour.

Sometimes you have to push the rocker start switch the other way for 10-20 seconds to prime the genny if it hasn't been run in a while.

It`s gas and the tank is half full, it sounds like it wants to start but nothing.

Is it gas or diesel? If there is less than 1/4 tank of fuel it won't start. Does it turn over or does it do nothing??
