Thumping under passenger seat

Driving through North Carolina yesterday we started hearing a thumping sound from under the passenger seat. Did not seem to matter if we went over a bump the thumping was sometimes rather loud, at other times like something loose swinging around and hitting the fiberglass wheel well . Around curves it seemed to occur more frequently, but would also occur on the flat and straightaway. I've checked and cannot find anything loose. Shocks look ok, no leaks. Any thoughts?

Thanks ill do just that. I've a temporary "fix" for now. One more day on the road before we roost for a few months.

Alas I believe I found it! After checking the sway bar, the shocks, the lug nuts I decided to lay under one side then the other to compare. Found two bolts missing that were supposed to be holding the body to the frame! Then I decided while I'm hot and sweat covered anyway, to check the engine oil. As I lifted the front cover the left side fell down - both bolt systems that were supposed to be holding the cover on were gone and the metal arms free to fly around hitting the frame! Got to get more locktite! Thanks for everyone's assistance!

I still have that same periodic thumping sound from 2002 freightliner chassis. It's under the drivers seat. Turns out its the sway bar. The bushings seem to be compressed and no longer cushioning the swaybar movement. New ones didn't help, they were just as hard and compressed. I have yet to find bushing that fit right, or take the time to add threads to the bar's threaded rod so I could tighten them down properly. That seems to be the problem, a design flaw. Ps bushings at the frame rail connection too.

We had a periodic passenger side thumping after purchasing the coach. Was difficult to find but ending up where the shock bolts needed tightening down. An alighment shop found it.

Tire tread starting to peel off although it usually happens suddenly and completely at highway speeds.
You may also have a weld that has broken loose on the front end of the WH chassis that attaches the frame to the front cap. This will cause some intermittent thumping noises. Look at the square braces that come up from the frame to the front cap and see if any of them have fractured. Sometimes the lightweight steel that they use for the braces will fracture at or near the weld.
