Tire Purchase

Went to place an order for 6 new tires yesterday.
Size: 235/80R 22.5 XRV Michelin. Can't find, dealer is still looking.
Michelin is not producing this tire now and there is no word
as to when they will startup again.
Anybody have any ideas or have information on this problem?

You may have to shop for a dealer who has them in stock. We need two new front tires (not your size) and nobody in Ohio (where we are now) has them, and they are on nationwide Michelin backorder, according to two dealers we talked with. Found a dealer in Harrisburg PA with four in stock - two now have our name on them and we'll get them put on Friday morning.
