good day. I'm at a tire shop and I want to upgrade my steer tire size from 275/70- 22.5 to an 80 series tire. Its on '08 Fleetwood Providence, on a FL-XCS chassis. has anyone done this? Robbie

I was thinking of a 275/80-22.5, but those are just to big to fit. I had to stay w/the 275/70-22.5. I was trying to get away from the RV specific tires. The 80 series are more common size. Thanx, Robbie

275/70-R22.5 tires are 0.35 inches (9 mm) larger in diameter than 235/80-R22.5 tires and the speedometer difference is 0.9%

Not a whole lot of difference!
