A quick question about storing your class c on cement block, will that help keep your tires from become dry rot or does it matter if you leave in on dirt versus cement block

In all of my 61 years of legal driving I have NEVER concerned myself with what surface my tires were parked on.
When a tire/tires go bad (7years),wear out etc, I replace them.
I imagine if one did a bunch of research one could figure out a way of getting 100 miles or so more on a tire but that would take way too much time from the years I have left above ground.

Don't worry; be happy.

Modern tires do not "dry rot".

The sun does more damage than the dirt.

And leaving them sit in exactly the same spot for months tends to flat spot.

Exercise the engine once every 6 weeks or so and move it about 10 inches and it won't make any difference what you park it on.

Anytime tires sit for any extended period, the oils will settle and eventually leach out or evaporate. Dirt/Grass does speed this process up a bit (so does sun, high temperatures, lack of movement).

We use old mudflaps under the tires to isolate from the concrete pad we park on, and it helps to minimize contact with a surface that can create issues. Over time, they will still age out.

Something as simple as 2x pressure treated material will help with the dirt. At that point, it's also how much settling will occur.
