Water pouring out from under the coach

Hello! I'm hoping somebody out there can help us! :)We

Yesterday, we noticed a spot under the motorhome where waster was just gushing out. It is fresh water, on the drivers side and looks to be right under where our kitchen sink is. There is no water leaking anywhere IN the coach, just this gusher outside when the water pump is on. :h
We are not hooked up to any water source... we were using water from the tank. It was fine all day and the day before when we were in it and using it. Nothing changed that we are aware of. We had about a 3 hour road trip, but didn't hit any debris in the road of any sort.
This is a new to us motorhome, so is there a valve somewhere that we should be checking that isn't obvious?
Any help would sure be appreciated!!

Glad you found it. If you have not thought about it, you should check and tighten all your hose connections. As a safety feature until you do, i would suggest your water pump stay off when you are not in the coach. Also, while you are away, turn the city water off when you are connected to it. After you have checked all your hose connections, you will have more confidence in your system.

Where is your water heater? It may be in that general vicinity.

Basically what Vulcan suggested is about all you can do—hunt down where the water is coming from, either by looking from the outside or digging around the inside. The plumbing is usually somewhat accessible from cabinets etc.; you may have to remove drawers or unscrew certain access panels inside to see things.

Does the pump run continuously when it's on but not taps are open? It should shut off once the system is pressurized, and not run until you draw water from somewhere. Anything else indicates a leak. (Sometimes the pumps do leak a bit at the check valve built into the pump, in which case it may run for a second or so every half hour without water leaking anywhere externally. If that is the case, it's nothing to really worry about too much.)

If you would have just topped off your fresh water tank there is an overflow hose on some coaches that will continue to siphon water out of the tank.

The compartment where the water pump is located is dry and the location where the water fill valves, outside shower, etc. are located is dry, too. I can't find any leaks anywhere in any of the basement locations or in the coach itself, just under in that one spot.... if that helps or makes any difference.

IF nobody with a similar model gives you any good clues...........you are just about gonna have to crawl under there and have someone turn the pump ON to see where it is coming from.

Before you do that, however, check the hoses and valves in the compartment where the pump IS. Sometimes the water will finally leak out of the floor several feet away from where the leak actually is.
