Waterworks Utility Panel

As with many others on here, I have a Water Works panel on my 2006 Freelander and have no idea how to operate it. I have attached an image, but it doesn't look like it's going to work, so let me ask the question I have assuming you cant see it.

There are two dials which can be up left or right

First thing says Pump/City Pressure, with both dials pointed up.

Second says Tank Fill with Left Dial Up and Right Dial pointing left.

Third is for Winterizing which has First Dial Right, Second Dial Up.

I'm looking for someone to validate a couple of assumptions:

1. Seems like most of the time, normal position whether you are using city water or using water from your tank is for both dials to be pointed up.

2. Only time you should NOT have them both up is when either filling or winterizing.

When I took delivery of this from the dealer, they had it in the tank fill position. I don't know whether this is because they literally filled the tank and didn't switch it back or what, but I'm assuming it shouldn't stay in that position now.

If anyone has any advice to provide, I'm all ears! Thanks for your time.

(Oh by the way, can you see the picture? Just curious for future posts)

Well, never mind. The Water Works panel is completely mislabeled (or the previous owners changed the position of the levers). Turns out that for Winterize, the right lever has to be left. Can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to figure this out. Ugh.

Well, I thought this would be simple but I must be missing something. I'm trying to sanitize my freshwater tank by sucking a bleach water mixture into it. I have the city connection pugged, and a hose attached to the winterize fitting. I put the levers in winterize position as above. I turn on the water pump. the hose is submerged. I get no suction out of that scenario at all. At the moment, I can't figure out how to get this mixture into the tank. I even tried with the hose in the city/fill fitting, and the levers on tank fill and the water pump on, and get bubbles out. I'm at a loss and with a 10 gallon water/bleach mixture sitting here with nowhere to go. Any ideas?

Thanks so much! Tried to find an old owner's manual online, but the one I did find is very generic and doesn't have any specifics.

Correct.......switches in photo are in 'fill' position. If connected to city water you would be filling your fresh water tank

*Both switches UP......allows city water and/or pump usage
*Left switch DOWN, right switch horizontal (pointed left)...fill fresh water tank
*Left switch horizontal (pointed to right), right switch UP is for winterizing rig plumbing system. Stick a hose in an rv anti-freeze bottle and connect it to that fitting (winterize)turn pump ON and it will pump anti-freeze thru plumbing system as you open faucets etc.
Is it time for your medication or mine?
