to pass California Smog test.

finally passed smog!

we are going away this weekend!

A thorough cleaning. It needed it after a weeklong spring break trip that took us from Simi Valley, to San Diego, Salton Sea, Lake Havasu, Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon Caverns, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and back to Simi.

Drove her 13 Hrs yesterday from Monterey, CA to Nellis AFB, NV. Today left her at the site while I took in Death Valley then hooked up the TOAD for tomorrows departure to Moab, UT for two days at Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. WOO Hoo on the Road!!!!!

Will have to move my old beast in the next couple of weeks! WOO-HOO! Bring her back to life!

And, for more excitement, I'm getting my order ready for Summit Racing for speed parts to drag a few more usable ponies out of the old 360!!!!! It's ALWAYS fun to tear into a Mopar engine!

Pop all running light lens off and be sure the little cut out where the wires run through is sealed with putty -don't use a silicone sealer,it will leak in the future. If you think you have found a leak-clean area and reseal ,don't put sealer on top of old leaking sealed joints, guess ? how i spent the afternoon!

I just picked up my 1st class C today. It's a 2004 Winnie 331C, 30,000 miles. Found paperwork from the orginal owner and called them to see if they had ant issues since I have 30 days to check everything out. She said she wished she still had the winnie.

Finally installed the Progressive Industries Electrical Management System HW30C that I bought 3 months ago.

(I used two 30amp twist lock plugs/sockets so I can take it with me if I ever change rigs. >G<)

Went out and cut the heat on for the night. We had freezing temps and wanted to make sure I ad no issues with the water system this weekend. We're boondocking at the racetrack!

Installed a Dirt Devil central vacuum. Put it in cabinet under kitchen sink. Was surprised how well it fit in this area without taking away from storage space.

DW prefers riding back in the living area, so the passenger seat never got used and took up valuable floor space.

So I did this.

Very easy in the Chevy 3500 - just remove four 19mm nuts and disable the passenger airbag with a switch provided on the dash.

I startd mine yesterday. I put it in drive and resvese. I did this about 5-7 times. I also replaced a battery strap on it.
Next month we head out!!!! WHO RAaaaa....
