What do you usually have to pay for annual service to DP?

I have a DP with a 350 HP diesel. Just did my annual maintenance at my local Cat dealer. Just wondering what others pay for the service.

This did not include the Onan genny.

Mike,

Tell us exactly what they did for a more accurate answer. Annual maintenance means different things to different people/dealers.

Freightliner chassis 330 Cat. Approx M-1 routine oil and chassis lube $350.00 with fluid analysis, 21 point inspection. 11000mile.

M-3 service , all fluids, filters, trans, engine, coolant, RE. $1400.00 every 25000 mi. 21 point inspection. Rush trucks in Yuma has serviced my RV since day one of ownership. Great service and fairly priced. Only two problems discovered over the years during 21 point inspections. Leaking manifold gasket and leaking front wheel bearing discovered and repaired

Different rigs have different annual requirements, so comparing with others will be a little hard to do unless you can compare with the same rig you have.

Some have two fuel filters, some one. ... the water separator and air filter don't need changing annually, just when needed. The cost of air filters is high, and prices vary considerably depending on which one you have. Same for the antifreeze, but test strips are usually used to test it and mine is 7 years old and still good. But when the time comes the anti-freeze replacement will probably be high.

And a lot depends on who does the service and how in depth they are. I've used Cummins Coach Care from day one. Mostly to CMA for any warranty issues, but now that the warranty is gone I still use them. They have all the records of every wrench that's touched my engine.

That said, .. mine will avg $500 per year. I have gone as high as $1200, but needed a serpentine belt, generator service, (among other things).
