What is this switch?

We bought a 2005 Georgie Boy Landau 35ft a year and a half ago. We are happy enough with the MH but we have one question that nobody has been able to tell us...

What is this switch for? It's located in the driver side as you can see, it doesn't do anything either on or off.



I mean the red switch in the above photo.

ez way to check...flip the switch and after a minute feel the glass on the mirrors.

If it is heated mirrors, remember that it does not automatically shut off. If you forget to turn it off when you park, it will drain the chassis battery.

Initially I thought it was the elephant repellent alarm. But, because its red I figured it must initiate the warp coil charge. Then I looked up the model number and found it was simply the side mirror defrost.

No light is either the light is blown or the fuse is - neither is uncommon.

Or the warp coils are already charged.

I think it arms the security system. Turn it on and if someone tries to break into your rig they get struck by lightning.

Is it for the mirror heat? Does it light up when switched on?
