Where to buy Goodyear tires for Class A?

The 2012 Georgetown (see signature) is in need of new tires. They look and ride fine and have been great, but they are now 7 years old, so its time.

One blew out a month ago (long story). I replaced that one a month ago, so only need 5 tires now.

It came originally with Goodyear G670s, and the one I replaced recently, I put a Goodyear G670 back on. That being the case, I want to stick with the G670s, don't want to mix brands (so please don't waste time suggesting I get Michelins, double coins, Toyo, Hankooks, etc). The G670s have been great, so have no problem putting them back on it.

Have been looking around, only found two local shops here (Valdosta, GA) that will put tires on it. They both want obscene amount of $$ to do it. One place wants $590 a tire to do it (G670s), another wants $700 a tire to do it. One place will install, mount them if I buy them elsewhere, and will charge $70 a tire to do such. That is what I'm probably going to do.

Soooo, now the question: Where is a good place to order and have shipped 5 Goodyear G670 (245/70R19.5) tires?. NTB.com, Mavis Discount, tirerack.com, and Simpletire have been ruled out. NTB, Mavis, and tirerack don't carry it, and Simpletire scares me with the fact they sell tires that can be up to 4 years old before you even mount them. Not doing that.

I see that I can get them from Amazon for $327 a piece. Has anyone ordered tires from Amazon, and had success? Can anyone suggest any other place I might look at, for ordering these tires?

Can you tell me more about who your supplier is? That is almost exactly same price that simple tire has that I mentioned in previous post.

Is this for new tires, as in, date code no older than a year?

That's simple tire, the company I said in original post I won't buy from because they sell tires that are already up to 4 years old. Thanks but no thanks on that one.

What kind of "shop" is this ?

If they are RV shops, you need to start over and call around to some truck tire dealers. They are truck tires, after all.

I'm guessing that you will get a better price and letting the shop do ALL of the work will be a lot easier.

They actually have free shipping on it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, I have a couple ways to get tires from the house to the shop. Can borrow a pickup truck, or can probably carry all of them in the motorhome if need be. Pickup truck would probably be best.

Should clarify one thing: The shop wants $70 EACH to mount/balance, so it'd be a total of around $350 to mount and balance the 5 tires. Still much cheaper that way, than buying the tires from the shop, at $590 a piece PLUS the $70 a piece to mount/balance!
