Where to purchase a larger water tank for class A coach?

I want to add a larger water tank to my class A RV. It only holds about 30-35 gallons, just enough for about a 3-4 day weekend. I am going to be boondocking on longer trips, and will need a larger tank. Where is the best place to buy one, i'm looking at maybe a 100 gallon tank. There is plenty of room under the bed for a larger tank.

That's true. I just know in my Rexhall having the tank full made such a difference that I would only fill it up if I had to when heading out someplace I knew I wouldn't have water. In my current DP the water tank is in the middle and I can't tell one way or the other whether it's full or empty by the way the motorhome handles.

I appreciate you pointing that out. It wouldn't be 830# more than it is now, I would be probably adding 60 gallons. At 8.3# per gallon, that would be more like adding 498# to the rear. The equivalent of two large people laying on the back bed. Thanks for watching out for me.

Didn't say it wouldn't be fine, just pointing out the difference it makes in case you didn't know. But it sounds like you know.

Yes, it's behind the rear axle. We had an old southwind class a back in the day, and it was also on the P30 chassis. It had 100 gallons way out past the rear axle. It will be fine.

You mention under the bed so I assume that also means behind the rear axle? My first motorhome was a Rexhall and it had a 100 gallon water tank under the bed at the very rear end of the motorhome. Water weighs about 8.3 pounds per gallon. 100 gallons of water behind your rear axle means 830 more pounds back there which removes a lot of weight from the front axle. When I filled up my 100 gallon tank on the Rexhall I could really feel the difference in the way the motorhome handled.

I put a much larger tank in our old toyhauler. I bought the tank from Plastic-Mart in Orange County, California. I was able to measure the area I had available under the rig and they came up with a tank that fit and used up the available space. I thought it was pretty inexpensive, too.

Look on ebay. I bought one there at a nice price. Otherwise if you google RV water tank, you'll find some vendors.
Currently RV-less but not done yet.
