I have a 2004 Tiffin Allegro. The rig had 2000 miles on it when I got it. It now has 23,000. I had my brakes replaced a year ago. I had a bad experience with this shop and felt the price of 4500 dollars was outrageous. About six weeks ago, the motor home makes a terrible grinding noise when coming to a full stop with the ABS light OFF.when the ABS light is ON, there is absolutely no noise and a smooth stop. I carried it to a fleet service shop today and they check all pads and sensors and said everything was ok. I would appreciate any ideas. Thanks!
My friend had a 2005 alegro and there was a recall for the calipers sticking. The first fix was to grease the pins but that was a temp fix. He had his brakes lock up and he couldn't move his coach. They fixed his Free. Hope this is helpful
