Its done, the Red Max Pro finishing process. The C has never looked this good. It was certainly worth the effort. I applied 4 coats.
What can I say about the outcome: AWESOME!!! Now to work on the cab section. Yep, AWESOMEhttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g446/woodworker414/8-26-13camperdaytripstwinsbiketowingcamperRedMaxPr014.jpghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g446/woodworker414/8-26-13camperdaytripstwinsbiketowingcamperRedMaxPr013.jpghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g446/woodworker414/8-26-13camperdaytripstwinsbiketowingcamperRedMaxPr011.jpg
Well on my computer I see the code for the photos, but no photos. ???
HHHHHMMMMMMMM, anybody got any ideas why the photos didn't show.

Went with the default setting on picture size on TinyPic.Com. Guess I will have to work on that. Looks like the pictures are to large.

For those of you considering Zep and/or Red Max Pro for you campers, I contacted the company and this is the reply I got:

Dear robXXX,

Thank you for contacting us. The Zep Floor Finishes is designed for interior floor use only. I do not recommend apply the finish RV’s as it will cause yellowing and may not properly bond to the fiber glass.

I hope this information is of help. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you,

Zep Commercial

You have to use a photo hosting site, like Photobucket. Once you've uploaded it to the host site, you can copy the photo here.

Hi mockturtle, sure you can do a portion at a time. Yesterday, I ran out of shade and only got one coat on the rear of the C. Had to wait til the sun moved out west some so that the rear was shady. I finished the two sides while they were in the shade.

Hi mockturtle, my brother in law did his 5er over a year ago and he says it still looks as good as the day he did it and he lives in GA.
I have read on this forum of others who have done this 2-3 years ago and said still looked. I will try and remember to pose an update in about a year.

It lasts many years. The prep work is the hardest part, make sure you do it right. Applying the ZEP or RMP is the easy part.
Take your time with the prep and you will be very happy with the results.

^^^ I did mine 3 years ago and it still looks better than it did when I was trying to revive the surface with various waxes. I haven't applied any refresher coats, but it is due. I do cover it during the offseason.
