Anyone with a current Dish account please tell me if the missing channels have returned? If not what is the recourse? Thanks Max

Fox has been a pain in the Dish for a long time.. They are the reason you can't get DNS with Fox.

I thought Fox was owned by Disney or is that just the broadcast version
Sinclair... not a company I wish to do business with.

It is not a local channel issue. The Dish channel says its a problem with the Meredith Corp. who ever they are and the channels. Dish says to use OTA signals or streaming neither of which is available where I am. I have pay as you go for my RV and have no idea what channels are there until I pay my money for service. Calling Dish? My cat has a better idea of whats going on with my TV than Dish does.

RS net sports channels are still not back but mt Fox and CBS is back on. The two sports channels on 412 have been gone for months. Missed half the Braves baseball season.
I will not renew my Dish service again.

Well, it is a good thing that you EXPLAINED what you are missing.
It is not Dish.
you are missing a local channel out of PHOENIX.

They are NOT having an issue.
So it is whatever you are doing to your Favorites Channel Setup.

Why would you say that? What you said is likely not true at all. If the OP is getting all but a few channels it's unlikely a user error but one of the many on-going conflicts that pop up from time to time.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

These are also market specific. While your channels might be missing, mine are still working. Chuck

I suspect it is a "negotiating situation" with Dish and the provider as has already been mentioned but, have you checked on your Guide for "All Subscribed" and then see if the stations appear? I've been fooled by this one a couple of times-especially when moving out of the previous spot beam.

I don't hear of the cable networks having to fight to keep channel costs low. I can't understand why they see satellite providers as cash cows to be milked for all they're worth. Here in the St Louis area, we lost Fox Sports Midwest on Dish that was carrying the Cardinals BB games. We weren't able to see the games toward the end of the season. Then I saw an article about viewership number were down - well doah!

The local channels are also playing this same game. Why aren't they trying to increase their viewership numbers? They broadcast free signal over the airways but many can't get them good enough to watch without cable or satellite TV. Seems to me they'd be happy their programming was being carried to more households so they could charge more for their incessant ads.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a few channels missing with a message stating they were removed by networks. They have all returned to our Dish channel line up since, I have had sat tv for decades and these issues are common to both Dish and Directv. Not much anyone subscriber can do other than cut the cord or jump over to the other competing satellite service. Calling and complaining falls on deaf ears for the most part, in due time they usually come terms and channels return to line up.

The Fox RSN's, now owned by Sinclair, are still off and apparently still in negotiation. Sinclair just settled with AT&T/Direct, so there may be hope yet...

I am not aware of any missing channels. All the major cable providers, satellite TV providers and anyone else rebroadcasting other folks channels have financial disputes from time to time. It can happen again at any time to any channels. It always gets settled.

If you mean the Fox locals, yes. I'm not missing any of the channels on my Dish that I have programmed on my favorites lists now.
