Dish Network no HD on locals

We just moved from Phoenix to a Rapid City. We had HD locals all winter but here In Rapid City we only have standard definition locals. I’ve been texting with Dish Network and they can’t figure out why. they said we should have high definition. I’m wondering if Rapid City just does not offer high definition on their locals because I know that’s how it is in Yuma Arizona. I don’t think the dish guy I chatted with new much. Can anyone tell me if they are getting HD on the rapid city channels?

Satellite guys

The list is old as they don’t maintain it anymore but it looks like Rapid City is std definition only .. it is after all a very small market but at least you know.

I have Dish. I concur with checking the channel selection menu. I can't imagine in a larger television market there are no HD channels.

I'm a DTV guy but I'll try. Whenever I change locals I forget to look at "all channels" (instead of my favorites list) to make sure they're there. Perhaps something like that is what you're doing.
