I am helping a friend install a JVC KD-A645 CD Automobile Receiver in his Fifth Wheel.. It is to replace an older Auto type Stereo that had a cassette deck in it. Almost all of the wiring (power, ground and speakers) is pretty much straight forward in connecting to the existing wires however the new JVC has an additional orange/white wire connected to it labeled "Illumination".. I assume that this for connecting to a dimmer circuit connection that is in an automobile, but the RV has no such animal or need for one. I already taped off the antenna relay,(Blue), amplifier (blue/white) and tel muting wire (Brown), that are not used but what about this one? Is it needed or what should I do with it?
