I am a full-time traveler, but do not have any vehicles to register under my name. I was looking into using Good Sam's mail forwarding service to get a permanent address and, at the same time, become a resident of Florida. However, I heard within the last year they started requiring that you must have a vehicle to register in order to use their service for Florida residency. Why is that, and what to do if I don't have a vehicle to register?

Check with RVLife located in Crestview, Florida

I believe most RVs would qualify as vehicles and need to be registered.
Of course, there are multiple mail forwarding services. St. Brenden's Isle is a popular one among cruisers (boating) and they often don't have a vehicle to register.

Yes, but I do not own an RV. I travel full-time, just not full-timing in an RV.

It's an RV site, so it would have been good to clarify as many RVers travel full-time.
As noted, there are other mail forwarding services. You might also check South Dakota as a popular option. I'm certain, it's not a legal requirement to own a vehicle in order to be a resident of any state.
