New ProClip device mounting option for Ford E-series chassis

ProClip has the new device mounting option for the E-Series chassis. The mount replaces the existing coin slot and the empty compartment to the left of it with one solid mounting piece. I like this option because it puts an electronic device right where it needs to be for navigation.

Here are some photos of the installed mount. This is for a Samsung Galaxy Note S2 8.0 that I use for navigation.

Would be nice if it did not have that textured surface. I've been looking at using that slot for that purpose, since I don't have the brake controller and switches that usually fit the slot.

I've used proclips before and while expensive a really solid mount.

Overpriced compared to what? I'm not familiar with any other mounts that are custom made to a vehicle. Anything custom is going to cost more than a universal product. For example WeatherTech mats. Are RAM mounts overpriced?

Way, way out of sight, seems more like a ripoff.

Wow! Those ProClip mounts are ridiculously overpriced.
