In a few years we'll be seeing fuel cells powered by urine.

So you can forget your AGMs, Well Cells, Lithiums and the likes.

This is similar to hydrogen fuel cells that Toyota has that is on the market.

This also helps people with problem of incontinence. . . just save your discharge accumulation in your black tank. lol

Happy charging.

Like hydrogen fuel cells, urine based fuel cells would be connected in series that is also similar to generic wet cells.

Voltage output is proportionate to the number of cells in the array.

As for power. . .it would be no different from the Toyota Mirai power requirement.

If it can power a car the size of a four door sedan like the Mirai, I would guess around 150 to 200 HP.

The best part is this: urine fuel cell can be recharged in 4 minutes and you'll be good for more than 300 miles before needing recharge.

Right now there are about a dozen fuel cell recharge stations in CA. A plan for a 100 more is in the offing.

This new technology gives a whole new meaning to the catch phrase "renewable energy".

It doesn't discriminate the brand of beer needed as the raw material either.

So, keep those bottoms up...it maybe just what we need to mitigate the ever increasing need for energy efficiency.

Cheers I

How's that going to work? Everyone going to move to composting toilets?
Did you read the OP?
