Does anyone know how rotator works? Mine used to rotate. But doesn't anymore. I removed set screw and spring and can't see how this plastic piece connects to allow it to rotate.

I just installed a Jack 6 months ago. It works very well.

I wonder about replacing the batwing antenna with a fixed-head Jack. Anyone know if it has as good reception as the old antenna that raises/lowers?

I had the same problem; in fact I broke the handle trying to move the antenna. A little spray of silicone from the top as indicated in the instruction sheet and it turned so smooth it was hard to believe. You need to spray!

Pull down on the outer ring and turn. Check for obstructions on the roof too.
