Anyone paint over the brass fixtures?

It appears a lot of mid-2000's motorhomes come with brass fixtures. Has anyone painted over them along with the metal on the shower stalls?
Or would it be easier to replace all fixtures and then just paint the stall?

I think it would be very hard to get the paint to stick. You would have to scuff the surface well, use a good primer then a quality paint. In the end it will probably not look too hot. Best if you took it apart and painted each piece. I would replace what I could and leave the rest alone....or just just leave it alone..
