My preferred choice of a towed is either a Colorado or a Canyon. Iโm in the shopping/studying stage at this time. Motorhome towing guide states after placing transfer case in Neutral, to disconnect negative battery post. Then when using towed, you must attach negative post, then reset all presets on towed. To those who pull Coloradoโs or Canyons, what have you done to prevent having to do this last step, which would be in my opinion quite time consuming? i.e. Radio, Time, Seat Memory, Navagation, possibly DIC settings. Thanks for your assistance.
All I reset is the clock. My radio presets are not affected. I do not have seat memory etc. I think the power steering is electric and removing the negative disables it preventing wobble. It is a great toad.
Having to reset everything would be a no go for me. Why do they need the battery discounnected in the first place? Would running a charge line from the MH circumvent the need to do so?

I have a 2005 Colorado rear 2 wheel drive, automatic and if I start towing it I will install a Driveshaft disconnect. Personally, pulling battery cables and re-setting stuff is too inconvenient. If you have a newer Colorado, I can't help. Marvin
