Flat Tow 6 Passenger vehicles under 5,000 lbs

We are a family of six with children ranging in age from 17 to 4. What vehicles seats 6 (some of the kids are adult-sized), work with a 5,000-pound tow rating, and can preferably be towed four down.

I'm open to any suggestions, but older models are probably the best candidates for us. Something 5-10 years old would probably be about the right price range, but I'm anything that covers the 6-pass. 5k 4-down requirement.

Thank you.

The Flex is great! 3rd row room is better than most SUVs, including its platform-mate Explorer. Plus the EcoBoost is a powerhouse.

Any 2WD full sized SUV or van should work pretty easily. If not "approved" by the OEM, U-joints are easy to remove.

Edit: I totally misread that. I thought you wanted the vehicle being towed to have a 5k tow rating.

Minivans are lighter, cheaper, and offer more interior space than any 3-row SUV/CUV except the long wheelbase half tons. I do not know which ones can be towed 4-down, though.
