When we were "weekend" campers, (We full time now) this was our "home" park as it was just 20 minutes from our house. Camped there for over 35 years and literally hundreds of times.
It is a gorgeous park. On the Estero river, with the Koreshan settlement and all the history that is there, is right next door and accessible from the park.
Lots of shopping with a large shopping center within two miles of the park.
It is a smaller park, only one restroom to clean. As experienced Florida State Park host, I think it would be a pleasant assignment.
