Hitch Upgrade

I currently have an ez lift load leveler system using two friction sway bars. I pull a travel trailer weighing close to 7000# and 30 feet long. I am not very satisfied with the sway bars as I still get quite a bit of sway. I am looking at the Husky Center Line weight distribution system with sway control and am wondering if it is that much of an upgrade from I am using now.

I know if I didn't already have a good hitch that I am completely satisfied with, an Equal-i-zer hitch, I would check Blue Ox out for sure.

Also look at the Blue Ox SwayPro. Great hitch.

The OP has a 2015 Nissan Titan V8 from a previous post.

I also have a Eaz-Lift WD hitch I'm using to tow a 26' 8000# trailer with 1200# bars. I think it has about 950# of tongue weight.

I just towed it from Idaho to WA and up the AlCan to Anchorage. It came with sway controls, but I have absolutely no sway, so I'm not using the sway controls.

I'm towing with a 2005 3/4T CC longbed diesel. Maybe the longer heavier truck does help control sway?

The weights you listed are about the same as mine. I don't have or very little sway with 1000 pound spring bars and I don't use any friction sway bars.

Couple things left out of your posting that you might want to check into..

What are you towing with? 3/4 ton or better?

What is your tongue weight as a percentage of trailer weight? Mine is around 13 and 1/2 percent.

The hitch we do have also known as to "get them off the lot" but it does a very good job if your weights are good and TV are up to the job. At least on mine.
