is Focus good dinghy?

Thinking of transporting / delivering class A and C motor homes. want to flat tow my 2012 Focus . Is anyone towing this vehicle, and does it handle it well?

I tow a 14. Don't even know it is there. Put it in neutral, pull off batt. cable.

Look at the Ready Brute Elite tow bar. That is simple to change with many different towing vehicles.

Hi, I have a 2012 Focus. Ford has a section in the manual on how to tow ... it is allowed. I have flat towed my Focus since I bought it about two and a half years ago. I have had absolutely no issues. It is a breeze to tow. I have a standard tranny and I just drop it in neutral take, take my keys and release the hand brake and go. The automatics can also be towed but it has a few more steps to follow. By the way, my steering wheel does not lock when I remove the keys. Good luck.

People tow them all the time. There is a lengthy thread at IRV2.com dinghy forum about a good way to modify the battery cabling to allow for disconnecting the negative side. Do not disconnect it at the firewall, that is not a complete disconnect, because that leaves (connected) small wires coming off the negative side of the battery post.

We have a 2013 that I intended to tow, but have not gotten around to it.

Check your owner's manual to find out if it can be towed four down, or if it can be towed only with modifications, or if it cannot be flat towed at all.
