On a prior RV I installed a regular 24v thermostat to a roofmount ac using the relay that I have found on other blogs. It was a pain to run all the wires.
Has anyone tried a Cooling/Heating 120 Volt line thermostat such as the WIN100 fro LuxPro (see info below).
It appears to shut off the full 120 volts to the unit just as the relay did. So should work. It will require adding an outlet and 120 volt "plug" to the power wire going into the rooftop ac but that is very doable.
Any negative, constructive feedback would be appreciated.
