towing a Chevy Trax

We are starting to think about getting a new car and it has to be able to be towed on a dolly. We have a Chevy HHR now and are considering a Chevy Trax. Has anyone out there towed a Trax? Would love any input you have. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Bumpyroad, We already have a dolly and have used it for 3 yrs with not one issue. We do tow the HHR frontwards and are hoping that a Trax will tow the same. We've have 2 HHR's now a 2006 & a 2009. We would buy another except Chevy quit making them in 2011.

Just to clarify, The Trax is not 4 down towable like the HHR, the FWD version can only be towed on a dolly.

The Trax has to be towed on a dolly, frontwards. Other than that assuming youโ€™re towing your HHR that way by choice, it should be the same.

as long as you are car shopping, why not get something that you can tow 4 down, avoid some hassle?
