towing a Kia Soul

I am tired of low mileage on the Trailblazer,12-13 in town and tired of having to drag 4600# of metal behind the MH. I am thinking of getting a late model Soul as I think my 330 Cat will be more ameanable to towing 2800#. It also is light enough that it really doesn't need a brake system.
Who out there has one and how do you like the way they tow and drive.Yes,I know that they need to be a standard shift.

What's interesting,is that now that I'm actively looking for a used Soul, I have found only one stick and that was an '11 with well over 100,000 miles that was a daily commute of over 100 miles and used on weekends with long trips to the mountains. Of course there were a couple that were priced WAY above my upper limit and blue book. There's not a lot on resale.

I tow a standard shift Soul 4 down. I disconnect the battery, brakes off, out of gear, and key on. Don't even know it's back there.

I did install a quick disconnect on the battery. I also installed additional bulbs in the rear lights and ran wires to them and now have brake, turn signal and running lights off the MH.

Souls with automatics are not towable 4 down, must dolly or trailer. I know i own two Souls, both 2011s.
