Wheel/Lug nut cover recommendations

Our TT has nice new white wheels on it. We all know that won't last. But the wheels I can live with. The lug nuts however drive me crazy. They are cheap regular lug nuts that they put black plastic covers over. I have to take the covers off to check the tightness every time. That is a pain. 32 covers to do a 5 minute job.

I am thinking of either finding different lug nuts that are better looking, a better type of lug cover that is easier to get on/off, or a wheel cover of some type.

Has anyone else done this? What did you end up going with?

And no, I am not buying new wheels.

I've had the same issue - trying to find white covers has been a pain.

I had just recently found some lug nut covers from an auto place (see other post) and had decided they would be an acceptable replacement until I stumbled across a white entire hug / lug cover - like the Versalock cover but in white (no one seems to have these except in Chrome color.)

I lucked into finding Phoenix brand "Quicktrim" ABS covers in white that match my spoke wheels exactly (some brand's white cover is a different "white" once on the wheel) These came from Overton's in Greenville, NC and were reasonable.

I've run into the exact same issue with my 2004 Flagstaff. Have replaced the factory wheels with white "spoke" design wheels with loadstar tires and could not find lug nut covers anywhere. The new "Versa Lock" hub covers - if you can find them in white, which many dealers don't carry, aren't really a true white color and looked really bad. After a ton of searching found white, plastic / vinyl individual covers from this firm. These things look wonderful and were really reasonable in price. I'll recommend these to anyone looking for individual lug nut covers!

Quick shipping - low cost - and my wheels look super.

Mine just has a small hub cap big enough to cover the lugs. The wheels can be repainted, I've even added a stripe to match the trailer before.

You could also just go to any Auto Zone or O Riellys auto store.

Hey there ya go. Are the threads pretty standard on these axles? Or do I need to dig out a manual to find out?
