Sigh, I'm going to be "that guy". You asked a clear question and I'm going to answer it with an alternative. Sorry in advance.
๐So, what we ended up with was first a
Go Pod (not that gosh awful ugly color, but same idea) when baby was old enough to sit up, but not quite big enough to fully support himself. We would sit on the edge of the picnic table bench and fed him from there. It was also nice because he would hang out and watch the world go by and we didn't have to worry about where he was crawling away to. It collapses really easily and is fairly small in size.
Once he got a little big for that, we ended up switching to a regular plastic fold-up chair. The one we have was from Sams Club or Walmart and has some heft to it. On top of it, we would strap down one of the normal infant high chair seats (
much like this. We've done this for the entire camping season so far (from April when he was 10 months old until now at 14 months old) and will continue with it for quite a while.
The high chair seat is a little bulky, but when we're not using it- we just set it on the dinette bench seat and we'll even feed him strapped in there.
Otherwise, to your actual question- we did see friends who had a fold up high chair that collapsed like a folding camp/bag chair. My only issue was that it was really short. Seemed like baby would outgrow it pretty quick.
