Monitoring Temp while away

We always worry about leaving our dogs when we go out to dinner or appointments. A couple of months ago, I purchased a thermometer that has alarms that will come to your phone. It has been so nice to be able to check the temp back at the camper and know that everything is alright. Here is what we have been using: GoVee Wireless Thermometer

Hope this helps some of you.

We just added a hotspot to our shared data plan on Verizon. $10 per month and that's all. We use the hotspot to connect a camera (Nest) where we can see and hear the pet and watch a thermometer. That way we know the pet isn't disturbing the neighbors and is OK. Gives us peace of mind and protects the pet.

That's a good solution. We bought the RVPetSafety unit that has its own 4-G sending unit. It works great and doesn't need wi-fi; but you pay $20/month for "access" (assuming you use the service on a monthly basis - I think it's $120/yr for a contract)
