Sometimes people name them that just as a kind of joke and the dog is really a big baby in temperament. Even so, I'd probably shorten it to Joe in your very public conditions. Excellent idea on the testing.

I'm sure your instincts were correct and good for you, realizing Levi wasn't the right fit for your situation. Hopefully, there will be a home for him one day. Did you look at the dog your wife found?
