Well, not sure what this has to do with our Border Crisis (maybe Justin T. could help out in this matter?) I can only reply that I don’t invest much in ‘FEAR Po#n’…So I continue to forge ahead with the humility of a student, in the spirit of skepticism and enquiry (e.g. the Socratic method…)…Contrary to accepted narrative, climate projections exist only as a complexity of complexities, thus extreme prudence (and a panoply of multi-faceted scientific disciplines to validate projections…) is necessary when making such claims…

I would only note here that some climate Scientists (recent joint Finnish and Japanese study) have reported that above all, the ‘‘number one’ cause of climate change is due to variances in cosmic rays heating of the atmosphere, yet curiously this study seems to remain patently dismissed…(why is this??)…I might also add that the elevated CO2 levels (a minor constituent of the atmosphere), millennial past pre-date even humans, thus a bit of forecast humility (as opposed to arrogance…) seems at least somewhat in order…

As to the slight of Google (as my friend - huh?) yep I do occasionally peruse there (as many others may…), but more importantly I believe the best approach is to remain open to the continuance of dialogue from all competent sources, as opposed to casually dismissing well-grounded, opposing points of view as ‘advance-determined’ to be ‘out of hand’ - to do so is to reject Aristotles ‘scientific method’ by reverting to the medieval ‘Scientism’ (stellar mysticism) of the past…JMO

I'm surprised that this thread hasn't been shut down yet. It's purely political and was started as such. Many that are commenting don't understand science (methodical progress of understanding using reason, observation, experimentation, mathematics, etc and KNOWLEDGE to approach TRUTH...not just trying to justify your desired belief). Believing in conspiracy theories and not believing in science just because you lack understanding is like a 3yr old that insists that 2+2=5; just because you and your buddies say it loudly doesn't make it so. Open minded pursuit of knowledge is humbling...and educational...

Most RVers recognize the wonder of nature we get to experience in North America, and I should think WANT TO preserve that for others that follow.

It's sad that our generation seems to be becoming the "selfish generation" instead of following in the footsteps of the 'greatest generation.' And that it's become acceptable for those that don't know what they are talking about to proudly proclaim "2+2=5" loudly in the public square.

If you don't believe the sea levels are rising, that temperatures are increasing, that fossil fuels pollute, etc maybe you'd do better posting in political echo chambers instead of polluting this RV site.

For ever 1.8 F (1 c) rise about 1 billion people will be displaced. You believe this is a good thing? USA is trying to keep folks out from their southern border.

As to information, there are many sites that agree co2 levels rising is not good. Google is your friend, so I'm not going down that rabbit hole with you.

The Arctic Sea ice is increasing in size currently. Sea levels are not lowering.

Sea ice does not cause water level to rise, polar ice sheets (on land) will increase the sea level when they melt.

A few things - we are not greener than ever and that's part of the problem. Rising CO2 levels while we continually clear cut forests throws the balance off.

To your second point about sea levels, I totally agree. Erosion causes sea level rise. And Erosion is perfectly natural and been happening since mountains and rivers and wind and rain existed. That said, clear cutting of forests causes erosion and exacerbates the problem. But that doesn't fit the narrative. Scientists always dismiss erosion causing sea level rise in favor of ice caps melting. Because you can leverage the latter narrative to make money. The stopping of de-forestation which in turn stops development kills a cash cow. Everything always comes back to money and humans do a great job of over stating how important we are that we control everything. Because - it makes money.

Humans have been here for a second in terms of the historical timeline and in that timeframe we have crowned ourselves the king for the reason of everything that happens on the planet. Humans are power hungry parasites and that character will be our own demise. In another second we will be gone and this big old ball will shake us off and continue to do what it has for millions of years. Thawing, cooling, thawing cooling.....
