Addding inverter to 2004 Southwind 32v

My buddy has the above mentioned MH with the old analog TV and Direct TV and wants to be able to watch it without running the generator. When he bought it a year or so back, the dealer offered to put in an inverter for $3,500. He wants me to ask
how difficult would it be to install a small 400w inverter next to the front TV taping off the 12v wiring above the passenger seat.
Not sure if the analog TV and Direct TV receiver would exceed the 400w or maybe 800w. Also, could the inverter or a larger wattage one be somehow connected to the existo transfer switch?

My buddy is happy with the old analog TV and old Direct TV receiver. I looked at the power cord for the Front TV and it looks like some sort of special priority plug. I can't seem to remove it from the receptacle Anyone know what I'm talking about? He has no place for the inverter/transfer switch in or near the power panel in the bedroom. He's hoping we can just tap into one of the heavy 12 or 14 gauge 12v wires in the above the driver's and passenger cabinets. Looks easy enough except for that TV plug. Can't take a picture as I am at home now. But will be camping again with him shortly.
Any more suggestions?

Victron makes a 350 watt pure sine wave inverter. It is often a bargain selling for about $80 usd. It is intended to be hard wired to the battery bank.

NO the 12v lighting circuit is not heavy enough wiring and TOO LONG of wire, too far from the batteries
just when you get interested in the movie or 'sports' broadcast
the voltage drop will cause the inverter to alarm or maybe shut down

a 300w continuous inverter is big enough
mount near the batteries, but NOT in the same compartment
run the 120v line from the inverter to the TV area
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Transfer switch is easy.

1a) disconnect 12v and 120v power source.

1) Plug this into the inverter:

https://www.donrowe.com/KISAE-TS15A-Automatic-Transfer-Switch-p/ts15a.htm

2) remove branch circuit romex from the 120v panel and connect to the transfer switch output terminals. (all 3; hot, neutral, ground)

3) Short piece of new romex to connect the breaker panel to the switch input terminals. (again all 3; hot, neutral and ground)

4) restore power and watch some tv.

I recommend a 300 watt mounted next to or behind the 120v-12v distribution panel. Pull 12v from the main feed to the battery. Use a small $50 transfer switch in the branch circuit that connects to the tv. If 300w is too small... get a new led flat screen tv already. $3,500 is crazy talk to run a tv.
