I thought I would post about the battery voltage datalogger I have been using for the last 6 months.
It is a monitoring system from RV Whisper that logs data every 5 minutes from different wireless sensors including a wireless battery voltage sensor. The data is displayed in a web app that I can login to from my phone or computer.
You can see in this screenshot from the app when I spent 2 days camped in a field with just my solar panels to charge my battery bank this past week.
The data is logged to the RV Whisper monitor station installed in my RV. Installation was pretty easy because it uses all wireless sensors. Internet access for the system is over wifi from my Verizon jetpack installed in the RV.
Here is a picture of just the wireless battery voltage sensor with clips for connecting across your 12V battery bank:
The battery sensor actually has a free Android app available but it only displays the current voltage and temperature and not historical data. The RV Whisper monitor station stores the historical data from this sensor and graphs it on a web page (screenshot above). You can choose the start and end date and time to graph.
The system also has wireless temperature sensors that I put in my fridge, freezer, living area, oustide (propane bay actually), and wetbay. Gadgets are good.
