Champion 2000 watt on sale

If anyone is looking for the Champion 2000W inverter generators, Home Depot has a pair with the parallel kit on the special buy of the day for $800

There is no sensor to stop it running
But road heat and air flow may cause an over heat condition
Or
They might be enough air flow so everything is ok
We have no way of knowing that you will learn that when you try it

The other thing will be keep it full of gas, if it gets low while driving it might shut off turning some corner or going uphill

Trying to re start a hot a/C with a hot generator does not work very well
Often causing instant overload
And you have to wait for both to cool down before you can use the a/C again

I have been wanting to pull the trigger on a Champion 2000 or another brand. Will the Champion continue to run the Air Conditioner while in transit?

Asking because my Dash AC has not worked well in the past couple years and my plan is to place the Champion 2000 on my rear cargo basket and drive around with it turned on.

I am not sure if the Champion 2000 has a sensor to stop the unit if it moves etc. Thanks,

Note that My 89 Xplorer has the original 7100 BTU air conditioner.

I saw them Saturday on homedepot.com. It was 1 2pk of Champion 2000w inverters plus the parallel connector for $799. Great deal.

Wow, that's an awesome price. Unfortunately, Home Depot in Canada doesn't carry Champion. However, Costco does. So, would two 2000w inverters running in parallel be better than the Champion 3400w which claims to be able to run a 15000btu a/c? I'm also thinking lifting 2 48lb inverters is better that lifting 1 110lber. I guess I'm wondering if it's output is 4000w or is there a reduction in wattage running it parallel?
