Custom Electrical System Converter/Charger Installation

Hi all,
I have completely gutted a 1970 travel trailer, and am currently installing the electrical system. In this system I have both DC and AC electricity. On the DC side I have a Renogy solar charge controller connected to a battery bank, a Blue Sea fuse panel powered by the batteries, and I am now planning to install a 45 amp Charge Wizard converter/charger, which will electrify my 12 volt fuse panel when I am plugged in to shore power. My question is, must the converter be connected to both the battery bank and the fuse panel, or only to the fuse panel?
Thanks,
JayBear

Just the fuse panel is fine. However the fuse panel to battery connection should be of sufficient capacity to carry the full charging current to the battery.
