Dometic Teardrop stovetop RATTLES

Hey all, we purchased a new-to-us 2016 Winnebago Navion V model last summer.

We have a Dometic teardrop glass-covered 2 burner propane stove top. It rattles all the way down the road.

I partially pulled it out (without disconnecting gas). Really couldn't find an issue the suspect is the heat shield. Anyone here deal with this and fixed the noise? THANKS!

I put a folded towel over the stove and then close the top - no rattles.

This is one of those things that someone is going to have to be at the stove while you are driving down the road.

My first thought was the grate over the burners. I do not know about your model but most stove grates have small rubber grommets between where the leg of the grate enters the stove. I am always replacing mine as they get lost very easily.

Good Luck safe travels

That would drive me nuts. I hope you figure out what's causing it.
