Installing washer dryer combo

Everyone,

Just bought a Splendid 2100XC and I am going to install myself. Not too worried with the install as the FW unit is pre-plumbed and wired for the washer/dryer combo. My concern is where to cut the hole for the dryer vent. The washer/dryer cabinet is in the door side front corner of the trailer. Where to cut that 4" hole. This makes me nervous!! My FW is a 2010 Jayco 351 RLSA. I have included a picture of the sidewall that Jayco sent me. Maybe indicate on that diagram? If you have a Jayco FW from 2010, possibly a picture.

Just finished a stacked Ariston washer/dryer install in our Class A.

I used a 4 1/4" hole saw and drilled from inside out. I drilled slowly and was able to remove the thin wallboard before drilling all the way through. Depends on how your Fiver's was construction, but if you go slow and remove material as you go, then you probably won't hit anything.

Thats approximately where I've seen them on other units.

I would drill a 1/4" hole inside behind the unit you wan to install. Then bend a coat hanger 90 degree's and feel around in the wall for anything blocking. Either that or gently drill a couple of holesat the outside edge of the hole you need to make. Go just deep enough to find out if there's any stud back there. You could use a stud finder but they can be odd acting with RV walls.
FWIW, there are RARELY any wires in side walls.
