LED Light Kinda died

Have an LED light that is Round with the little light dots on the sides OUT,But the 3 little dots on the end work fine for a Night Lite.Would or Could it put any Extra drain on the battery being some of them appear Burnt out or Shorted out??

Yes most LEDs fail as a short, so they use roughly the same energy they did while working.
