OK folks, My 93 Pace Arrow needs some interior screen repair. Not sure who the manufacturer of the windows are but the screens have a large wheel at the bottom center with EXCEL stamped on it so I assume the name of the company who manufactured the screen, and possible the window is Excel RV windows.
What I'd like to do is rebuild the screens & rescreen. I figure if I can get the actual acreen hardware I should be able to assemble an exact replacement.
Half the window is a solid emergency exit window hinged at the top with two red handles on each bottom corner. The other half of the window is what I believe are called "jalousie windows" ?? three louvered pices of glass, the top glass is solid, does not louver out, just the bottom two open.
Inside, on the louvered side of the window is the screen. the bottom center of the screen has the round plastic wheel to open\close the window. It appears the bottom center and the corners are black plastic joined togeather with aluminmum pieces. The aluminum piece across the top has the small pins towards the corner as well as on towards each corner of the bottom that holds the screen into place.
The pins that secure the screen are all corroded so I'm unable to properly remove the screen.
Any ideas on how I can replace\restore these screens?
I'll try & add some PICS. Real hard to take interior PICS of the screens when it's daylight outside.
Thanks
