We have now joined the NOCOLD party. All systems work as they should; except no cooling, suspect plugged up tubes. Moving on...... I DO NOT want to go to a res fridge, so, I am looking at the various replacement cooling units on the market. Does anyone have experience with RVCOOL's new replacement unit? or any comments on the others? (Amish, etc.). Any good/bad experience doing the swap? Tips? Any and all will be appreciated. THX TB

Installed an Amish Cooling Unit last year on my 4 door Norcold. Very impresse with the build of the cooling unit. Insdtalled myself on a Saturday afternoon. Been running like a champ in 85 deg weather. Freezes Icecream we have it on setting 3. Just installed the 2 fan unit t install on the fins. Very satisfied of the purchase & price from RVCooling units.

Hi, Yes I used RVCOOL when my cooling unit went out.
Here is a link to what I wrote for my first post on this site. Sorry about the length, but having a good experience kept me writing...

The unit is very durable, the instructions were very complete, and when I did have a couple questions, they were very helpful.

Hope this helps you in your warm refer problems.

I cannot get link to work. The price is attractive and the construction looks good; how well does it perform in higher outside temps?

I did my 1200 over Christmas. I went with a news unit from Amish Made. It is a quality unit and cools better than the original. They sell a kit with fans, tape, conductive caulking everything you need. It looks daunting but really wasn't that hard. You do need a helper.
