Rechargeable Lithium Bright Trouble (flood) Lamp?

Would be nice to be able to see at night. A lamp for tire changing or fumbling under the hood.

Good battery capacity. An hour at least on high setting

Flood light. Narrow beam is useless to this old fart

Bright. Not interested in candlelight dining romance.

Rechargeable 120vac and 12 volt from cigarette lighter socket.

Fumble-resistant and oops-splash resistance would be a plus.

Ryobi has a nice compact high power LED flood light in their line of 18V lithium ion products. Their 4AH battery provides the most energy storage. It travels with me on our camping trips along with inflato, fans, hand vac, drill and impact driver.

I have one of these.

Picked it up a couple years ago on their closeout bins. Just used it again last month for a fishing trip. Had it on for about 4 hours straight never dimmed. Always using it around the house and the cars.

I need a Smart Sun switch.

One, where when things go wrong push a button and the sun pops up just long enough to steer me through the rough parts.

I am going to get the Olight H2r headlamp. 2300 lumens available on a single provided 18650 battery. Also has 600 150 30 and 1 lumen modes. They have cool white and warm white versions.

89$

Mex, a lamp mounted on one's head is a zillion times better than aiming it in the general direction of where light is needed.

Many ways to recharge 18650 batteries, and many headlamps with ridiculous amount of light for under 20$

Borduit on Amazon gets pretty stellar reviews. Get real 18650's though, Panasonic NCR 18650Bs once were top capacity but now are falling into the budget area as there are higher capacity models available.

Lowes has a 1500Lm LED rechargeable flood. I have the 120/12v one in the coach, and another in the garage. didnt see the need for battery on these two. The output and color temp is great

Okay, Mex, you win. I was worried we were going to hear about some crusty old man in the darkness reaching for his Flashlight.

Tell that to the blue hair Canadian restaurant owners in Barra de Navidad or a silver hair condo owner living on the side of Nob Hill. The one with a 600 series Mercedes and social plans for the rest of my life. With four granddaughters it is IMPOSSIBLE to live "alone". You perhaps underestimate the social engineering inherent in the "X" chromosome. It vies with "shopping" for dominance in the personality.

Oh WE have to be ready to go over to the "xxxx's at eight o'clock". Let me pick out your tie.

Yeah? WE? You gotta frog in your pocket? Tienes rana en su bolsa?

Remember those early television movies about Vaudeville? The last time to Barra de Navidad a huge hook came out of a water-side restaurant and yanked me to the door "Oooooh David! What a miracle, just have just GOT TO try this new recipe"

I looked back, Brenda had fallen to her knees clutching her sides tears streaming down her cheeks. The girls formed a circle chanting a Mexican nursery rhyme rotating clockwise. Jesus was winking at me.

I am too OLD or that kind of nonsense.

Er Mex, regarding "romance", you've led us to believe you live alone.
