Hello,
My 2024 Salem Cruise Lite Platinum furnace will not get hot. When you turn on the heat, you can hear the system run, element click once/ twice, blow cold air and then turn off. I have two full tanks of propane. Is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks

I had a similar issue with my furnace. Disconnect the two wires (usually Blue wires) that are connected from the thermostat to the furnace, touch those tow wires together (bypassing the thermostat) and see if furnace runs correctly. I ended up having a bad thermostat. Worth a try since all other aspects of furnace seem to be there to operate.

Stand outside whole somebody else turns on the furnace. If you get actual heat then it shuts off it's likely the thermocouple.

This is the first time I’ve tried to turn on the heat. I will check the exhaust vent and the thermocouple.

Is your propane turned on? Is there a blockage in the furnace exhaust? Can you hear it ignite?

The propane is turned on. I can hear it ignite. I don’t know if there’s a blockage because the stove and oven work. (I’m new to RVing.)

The exhaust vent for your furnace will be on the outside wall. Often bugs and debris can get in there restricting air flow. Could also be your thermocouple. Could be a lot of things actually but those are the easiest to diagnose. But sounds like it's not igniting. You may hear it click to try but the burner is usually a fairly audible flame. The fan turns on before ignition to blow out any residual gasses. It's doing that then trying to ignite but sounds like it's stopping there. The thermocouple senses the pilot and if there is no pilot it shuts down. Was it working before?
