Small Roof Leak

I have a small leak in the skylight over my shower.
I got up on the roof today and sprayed around the skylight with clear Flex Seal.
I know it's a little late to be asking as I've already used it, but has anyone used this product?

I agree with robsouth. Temp fix at best. Since winter is coming and even northern CA may not have the best weather for repairs I would try to keep it covered and clean it up in the spring and use Dicor leveling caulk around the area. May want to check the whole roof.

Dicor has leveling caulk for horizontal surfaces and vertical caulk for vertical surfaces.

The only problem with flexseal is that if there was any moisture underneath the flexseal when it was applied the flexseal will bubble up as the moisture underneath vaporizes. If it does not bubble to much then the seal will be maintained.. If it bubbles enough then you might develop a new leak. I found this out the hard way.

Flex Seal Posts

I've never used Flex Seal so I can't comment on it's quality.
Keep checking your repair. You want to get the small leak repaired ASAP. A small leak can do a lot of damage if not repaired.

Please, let us know how the FS worked for you.
