Southwind slide out panel switch intermittent

More issues for my buddy with his 2004 Southwind. His bedroom slide works fine in and out, but his living room slide goes out but periodically doesn't come in. If he wiggles the switch wires from the back it will work. The dealer sold him a new switch plate but it's differnt from the original. His old plate has a switch on the left to determine Bedroom or living room and the right switch is in or out. The new switch panel has the left switch for the bedroom in or out and the right switch for the Living room in or out. Should he be able to just take the red, yellow, blue, orange and green wires from the wall and connect them to the corresponding wires coming off the wiring harness?

Finally after getting the runaround, the dealer tech said the new panel is a wire for wire job color coded. Will replace the old panel next week.

Today I chatted with a tech at Lippert and he said the old panel wasnโ€™t Lippert/Power Gear. He further said theirs may not be exactly compatible and may need rewiring for the difference in the which side switch now being for a side.. He suggested contacting Fleetwood for more information ion. When I tried, I had to stop because it required vehicle information such as vin and coach number which I donโ€™t have.
I am looking at a switch for the old panel. Looks like a mini momentary on/off/momentary on 6 prong. But Iโ€™m not sure of the amps. Only found a 20 and maybe a 30 amp. It may need a 40amp. I will have to see the actual switch first.

It is probably a Power Gear slide out system. They have been bought out by Lippert.
There is more electrical to the system than this panel. There is a relay and a control box.
is this it
